Red Camp Information and Policies

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am.

PARKING

Parking for 4 cars is available next to the side yard.

Reach out if additional parking is needed or are planning to bring a drift boat or other equipment.

HOUSE RULES

• Catch & Release only.
• NY or PA Fishing License is required.
• No smoking indoors.
• Please respect the wood and furniture.
• No cleats on porch or deck.
• Do not put anything into the fireplace.
• Cabin uses a septic system. Please be mindful of what you put in our pipes.
• Please so not climb trees, or disturb wildlife or wildlife habitat.
• Fireworks of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property.
• Gasoline or other fuels are prohibited for starting fires.

Although just 5 minutes from the Village of Hancock, Red Camp is nestled in the wilderness. We kindly ask our guests to respect wildlife by not disturbing animals or their habitats, as we are actively working to enhance the natural environment. Please help us keep this special place clean, safe, and beautiful for future visitors.

*We reserve the right to charge for any additional cleaning fees or damage fees should you damage any property at camp.*

RIVER / OUTDOOR GUIDANCE

• Please see property map for property boundaries
• River access from stairs on the side of the deck or the trail at the end of the driveway only. River can be very cold and fast, wade with caution!
• Please be respectful on the river. Practice etiquette when fishing from property around other anglers.
• Our land is private, but the river is public. Please notify hosts if anyone is using property during your stay.
• Hunting is not permitted on the property.
• Please be aware that the river and floodplain are prone to flooding and exercise caution when visiting the area.

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS

• Check out is at 11am.
• Leave beds as is.
• Hang towels.
• Turn off all lights.
• Clean dishes. Dishes can be left on the drying rack.
• Close all windows.
• Put furniture back where you found it.
• Ensure outdoor furniture and grill is covered.
• Leave trash and recycling in bins. Metal trashcans outside are available for overflow.
• Lock front door. This will automatically notify us you have checked out.
• Please ensure you have all personal belongings prior to leaving.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE / CANCELLATION POLICY

50% due at time of booking. Remaining balance due 7 days before arrival. No security deposit is due.

All paid prepayments are non-refundable.
